And it came to pass, when Jesus ended these words, 29 the multitudes were astonished at his teaching for he taught them as one having authority, and not as their scribes.

he stretched forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou made clean. And straightway his 4 leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, 18 he gave commandment to depart unto the other side. And there came a scribe, and said unto him, Master, 19 I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And 20 Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. And another 21 of the disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. But Jesus saith unto 22 him, Follow me; and leave the dead to bury their own dead.

And when he was entered into a boat, his disciples 23 followed him. And behold, there arose a great 24 tempest in the sea, insomuch that the boat was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with the publicans and sinners?
