And Joseph took the body, and wrapped 59 it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his own new 60 tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock and he rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, and departed. And Mary Magdalene was there, and the 61 other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.

Now on the morrow, which is the day after the 62 Preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees were gathered together unto Pilate, saying, Sir, we re- 63 member that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I rise again. Command therefore 64 that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest haply his disciples come and steal him away, say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: and the last error will be worse than the first.
