ESSAY

ON THE

EQUITY OF DIVINE GOVERNMENT,

inhabitants of the earth.-Dan. iv. 35.

Why doth he yet find fault? for who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man,
who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him
that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus ?-Rom. ix. 19, 20.

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God; but those things which are
revealed belong unto us, and to our children for ever.-Deut. xxix. 29.
