This Society was founded for the purpose of affording Students of the Queen's College, and others, an opportunity of improving themselves, by writing papers on Literary and Scientific subjects, to be read and discussed before the Society.

No paper is received by the Society which contains any passage referring to politics or religious polemics.

The Society meets at the College on alternate Thursday evenings, from the Ist of November till the 1st of June inclusive, at 7 P.M.

The Annual Subscription is Five Shillings, payable in advance.
