The Delaware peach crop is apparently diminishing. The production of peaches as given is only 2.1 per cent of the production in 1890, and the number of trees is 46 per cent less than twelve years ago. This would make it appear that farmers are gradually going out of the peach-raising business and devoting their energies to apples, cherries and pears, all of which show a decided increase in trees and production during the same period. (a) No statistics. (b) Production 112.726 bushels orchard fruits; total valuation, $96,764. (c) Returns from 45 farms show production of 1,000 bushels orchard fruits; valuation, $773. (d) 33 acres are devoted to orchard fruits, and the total value of production is $897. States and Territories. Figs. Guavas. Kaki. AGRICULTURAL TABLE NO. 9.-PRODUCTION OF SUB-TROPICAL FRUITS.
