Side 346 - If in any employment to which this Act applies personal injury by accident arising out of and in the course of the employment is caused to a workman, his employer shall, subject as herein-after mentioned, be liable to pay compensation in accordance with the First Schedule to this Act.
Side 452 - It is sufficient to say that an injury -is received 'in the course of' the employment when it comes while the workman is doing the duty which he is employed to perform. It arises ' out of ' the employment, when there is apparent to the rational mind upon consideration of all the circumstances, a causal connection between the conditions under which the work is required to be performed and the resulting injury.
Side 219 - This act shall be so interpreted and construed as to effect its general purpose to make uniform the law of those states which enact it.
